Natalie Randhawa
Principal & Head of Dance

Natalie’s love for dance started at a young age and she quickly pursued it by taking various classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, and Musical Theatre. She gained performance experience in several London theatre’s, showcasing her skills in venues like The Royal Albert Hall, Sadler’s Wells, Her Majesty’s, and The Peacock Theatre.
During her earlier years of training, Natalie participated in dance festivals and achieved success by winning the gold medal in the solo Song and Dance category at the All England National Finals when she was only 9 years old. This success led her to pursue vocational training at Tiffany Theatre College, where she earned a full scholarship and graduated in 2007.
After completing her training, Natalie embarked on a professional dance career, performing in various countries such as Monaco, India, Egypt, Canada, and Ireland. She worked with renowned choreographers and appeared in music videos for channels like MTV, as well as in pantomimes, film, and TV adverts for brands like Adidas, Kingfisher, and Sony Records.
In 2012, Natalie decided to combine her professional experience and passion for teaching by opening Teddington Dance Studio. Starting with only 8 students, the school has now grown to include over 200 pupils. Natalie is highly qualified, holding teaching qualifications with the I.D.T.A, and I.S.T.D examining boards. She also is a certified Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT) teacher.  She has maintained a 100% Distinction & Merit rate with all her students in their exams, showcasing her dedication to their progress.
Natalie’s commitment to her students and her passion for teaching have shaped the highly regarded standard that Teddington Dance Studio represents today.

Krystina Westall
Head of Drama

Krystina trained at Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge, where she gained a Professional Diploma in Musical Theatre. Krystina has worked for various touring theatre productions as well as working professionally on stage and screen. She has been involved in writing projects and plays at The Old Vic Workrooms, The Drayton Arms Theatre, Barons Court Theatre and The Poor School. Krystina is part of Home Studio London based in Finsbury Park where she is part of an international community of actors, devising and performing work as well as being part of the continual study of acting.
Krystina has been teaching for over a decade in various Performing Arts schools across London and during this time has supported students auditioning for some of the top vocational schools in the country, including Arts Ed, The Brit School and RADA. She teaches 1:1 LAMDA as well as junior and senior drama classes in North London.
Krystina originally came to TDS to cover Natalie’s maternity in March 2016. As a much loved member of the team she now teaches Pre-School, Primary, Junior and Senior dance students all the way up to the Adult Tappers. Krystina now runs the Drama section of TDS teaching all of the LAMDA Drama classes.

Chris Bolingbroke
Head Of Acro

Chris trained at Tiffany Theatre College studying, Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre.
Chris has worked successfully in the industry for over a decade, still to this day working as a commercial actor and model, Chris has fronted numerous World Wide campaigns for the industries biggest names. Jaguar, HTC, Samsung, Diesel Jeans, GQ magazine, Tom Tom, Hershey’s, RIbena and Hungry house are a selection of the work he has done.
Chris is an Acrobatics Arts coach he joined the TDS team in September 2016 to teach the Acro classes which are hugely popular!
Chris is also a fully qualified Personal Trainer (https://www.theteddingtontrainer.com) and Tennis coach. He teaches all aspects of Fitness including Pilates, Yoga, Body Conditioning and Kick Boxing.

Freyana De Paola-Smith
Musical Theatre

Starting at a young age, Freyana developed a love and passion for theatre, participating in local festivals, prestigious dance awards, and becoming a member of the Surrey Youth Music Theatre. Her dedication led her to go on to join the National Youth music Theatre for five years. During this time, she had the opportunity to perform at renowned locations such as Sadler’s Wells, Buckingham Palace, Abbey Road Studios, and the DeBeer’s diamond concert for Nelson Mandela.

Continuing her vocational training at Tiffany Theatre College and The London School of Musical Theatre, Freyana earned a Diploma in Musical Theatre and a teaching qualification with the ISTD. Her talent and hard work have taken her worldwide, where she has served as the lead singer for shows like The Spirit of Christmas, The Spirit of Broadway, and Into the Woods. Additionally, she held the role of lead singer and show captain for the show team at a luxurious, five-star Sensatori resort. TV credits include: The Alan Titchmarsh Show,  Big Brother, Lee Mack – Duck Quacks don’t Echo.

Along her journey, Freyana discovered her passion for teaching and decided to pursue it further. With her extensive experience in performing and her ability to work with a wide range of ages, she is excited to bring valuable knowledge and skills to TDS. We are thrilled to have someone with Freyana’s background and passion join our team. We believe her expertise will greatly benefit our students and contribute to their growth and development.

Rachel Jordan-Dewhurst
Drama Coach

Rachel trained at RADA in London where she completed her Acting Foundation course gaining knowledge and experience from the best in the industry. Rachel has received world class training in a variety of acting techniques including Meisner and Stanaslavski. Rachel is also a member of National Youth Theatre which is highly competitive and provides her with access to a wide contemporary knowledge base.
She is currently working in the industry both with scripts as well as developing new and upcoming plays. Rachel has been performed in a variety of theatres for 10years and performed many times in the International Youth Arts Festival. Rachel has been assisting and teaching for 5 years and been directing since 2015 she also achieved distinction in her own Grade 8/Gold LAMDA.
Rachel is an ex-student of Teddington Dance Studio and is delighted to be returning to teach Drama at the school.

Jess Blogg
Commercial Jazz

Jess, a talented performer from Scarborough, embarked on her dancing journey at the tender age of 2. Over the years, she nurtured her passion through countless performances in shows and pantomimes, further honing her craft. In 2017, she took a significant step in her career by pursuing Vocational Training.

Her dedication and hard work led her to The Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts in Swindon, where she trained professionally and graduated in 2020. Since then, Jess has made remarkable strides in the entertainment industry. She has performed at Global Village in Dubai and onboard the P&O Aurora as a production dancer, showcasing her versatility and skill. 

In addition to her performance work, Jess is committed to teaching and sharing her knowledge with aspiring dancers, inspiring the next generation with her passion for the performing arts.
